Easy to Fix ASUS Aura Sync Not Working

Method 1: Reinstall Aura Sync

To fix Aura Sync not working, you can try uninstalling Aura Sync and other Aura software, and re-installing Aura Sync. Here’s how:

Firstly, uninstall Aura Sync and other Aura software.

1) Right-click on the Start menu button at the bottom left corner of the desktop and then select Apps and Features.

2) Uninstall these software: AURA, AURA Service, GALAX GAMER RGB, Patriot, Viper M2 SSD RGB and Patriot Viper RGB.

To uninstall a software, select the software and then click on Uninstall.

3) After you uninstall all mentioned Aura software, restart your computer.

4) Open File Explorer and then go to C:\Program Files (x86).

5) Locate the LightingService folder and then delete it.

If you can’t delete the folder, the Lighting service process may be running in the background. On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager. At the Processes tab, check if LightingService is running, if it’s running. Select it and then click on End task.

6) Restart your computer.

Secondly, install Aura Sync again. Then launch Aura Sync and check to see if it works properly.

If Method 1 doesn’t work for you, continue to try Method 2.

Method 2: Try a different version

1) Uninstall Armoury Crate, Armoury Crate Service software, and all other Aura software.

2) Go to C:\eSupport\eDriver.

3) Double-click on AsInsWiz.exe to run the application to update the required drivers.

Method 4: Disable fast startup
