Method 1: Check if Steam is muted

1) Right-click on the speaker icon on the taskbar and select Open Volume mixer.
2) Check if Steam is muted. If it’s muted, you’ll see a red circle with a red line on it. If that’s the case, move the volume slider up to 100. After that, you’ll hear sound from Steam games again.
Method 2: Run Steam as administrator

Method 1: Run the game as administrator
To fix the problem, you can try running the game as administrator.
1) Launch Steam.
2) Right-click on the game in your Library and select Properties.
3) Click the Local Files tab and then click Browse Local Files.
4) Locate the game executable (.exe).
5) Right-click on it and select Run as administrator.
6) Check to see if the no sound problem is resolved.
If the problem is resolved, you can set the game to run as admin at startup:
